I really like my cam, and photography in general. Absolutely not a pro or anything, I'm just an amateur who's taken a few classes in school. But I was horrified when on our last getaway my partner and I went to Barcelona and my cam was stolen right out from under us while we were at La Sagrada Familia! It was very hot, and we had actually just taken a seat for a short rest on one of the concrete benches next to the church. My partner went to try to find a restroom and I was browsing the guide book to see what we might do next. When he returned, he said where's the cam? I looked right next to me where I had just sat the cam down, and I could not believe it, but it was gone! One of my pals had actually just gotten a brand-new Nikon DSLR, she really liked it, and I trusted her judgement. So my partner and I chose to replace ours and get the exact same one my close friend had. Not liking the original strap that came with the cam(I'm not a big fan of being a walking signboard for any corporation) we chose to get a custom-made cam strap. I've always been a big fan of Amazon, they have terrific things and delivery is quick. It's a no brainer for me. So we browsed the web and discovered a really charming, classic looking colorful striped pattern, they call it the Rainbow of Colors design. We both like it, it's completely adjustable and fits both of us with just a quick change to the length using the buckles, and it's very comfy even when you're out for extended periods. Despite the fact that this wasn't a huge purchase I'm glad I did some research. Exactly what I discovered was that all cam straps are not equal, and there are big differences in the quality. Overall, the quality is excellent, the ends are made of natural leather, not some plastiky material, and we are very pleased with the purchase.
