In Twenty Years , The Youngsters of Tomorrow Will Not Be Able to Drink The Water

nature and we have the makings of a catastophic event that might last years. Not to long ago, near Charleston, West Virginia, a leaking container from a private company leaked a chemical called MCHM into the Elk River. The chemical made its way into the water treatment plant and passed right through as they were not prepared to filter for that chemical. This developed a headache for the entire regional community and maimed the economy in that area. All businesses, schools and dining establishmentsclosed because the water can not be made use of for bathing, drinking, cooking or anything of use to a human being. It was considered a toxin coming out of the tap. Picture the looks on kids' faces when they ask you for a drink of water and you can not provide for them. The water lines were hours long and the trucks that brought water in were depleted in 20 minutes and many did not get the water they required.

When it comes to the kids these days, if conscientious people get included now, there is hope for them tomorrow. Make it a mindful option to become included in your neighborhoods. Vote at your regional zoning conferences. Vote with the understanding and knowledge of where corporations that might trigger a risk to your water sources are being found and just how much danger evaluation they make to protect your water and other resources. Don't anticipate that the federal govenment will come to your rescue immediately if something should take place. Prepare a plan of action. Do it now while you have time and feelings are not running high. Large rescue efforts take tiime however it still is your responsibility to protect yourself and those you care for today. Benjamin Franklin said it best "When the well's dry, you know the worth of water.".
