If you are anything like me then exercise is almost a dirty word. However, it needs to be done, so I require all the motivation and diversion I can get. I like listening to music so take my iPhone with me. In the past, I have had problem with cases and clips falling off my waist band or out of my pocket so was very excited when I stumbled upon this armband on Amazon. Now, when I looked, there are tons of these available. I had actually read a couple of the negative comments that some brands had received and it seemed to be that there were three main problems; 1: the armband was too short, 2: you can't access the volume button on the iphone 5 when it is in the case and 3: the basic quality was poor and the armband broke in a short time.

The Armband itself is a straightforward enough creation which is composeded of neoprene (the same as wetsuits) with a soft plastic cover that has a clear plastic face to see the iphone through. It has a strip with a Velcro closure that goes around your arm.

However, I decided on this one coming from Spartanfive due to the fact that it is the only one which addresses all of these concerns. It has a life-time warranty so the risk is taken away right from the beginning. It includes a longer armband which really increases the comfort. I'm not a massive guy but I can see what they mean with some of the other models having a short armband. The retailer has provided a free set of ear buds which include a volume control. This is outstanding as its so much more convenient to adjust the volume from the cord whenever running. When it comes to the quality, it certainly appears to measure up to their hype. The smooth finish on the neoprene really feels comfortable and there is a really good level of stretch in the armband that it sits snugly but is not too tight. I have made use of it on a number of long runs (about 6 miles) and it stays in place.
