A Way to Bake Butterscotch Cookies with the Silicone Baking Mat; A Way to Bake Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies with the Silicone Baking Mat

I am going to share with you a recipe to make with the baking mat set. All my life I have actually been making use of aluminum baking pans, however since I stumbled upon the silicone baking mat I have actually been shying away from aluminum bake ware. I have an aluminum half sheet size pan that I make use of to bake with. I chose to attempt the silicone baking sheet because I am attempting to make foods without the additional oils and fats; and just to attempt to be healthier and save money on cash and who doesn't want that, right? Boy was I pleased I tried the silicone baking mat. The mats are so simple to make use of and I do not have to get my hands dirty any longer in order to include the butter. Cleaning is simple too, I do not have to scrap and scrub, just merely rinsing the mat down and air drying is all that is needed.
So here is the dish:

PREPARATION.
15 minutes.
COOK.
10 minutes.
PREPARED IN.
25 minutes.
To get started you will certainly need the following active ingredients:.
Original dish makes 4 dozen.
3/4 cup butter, softened.
3/4 cup white sugar.
3/4 cup packed brown sugar.
2 eggs.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour.
1 teaspoon baking soda.
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
3 cups rolled oats.
1 2/3 cups butterscotch chips.

Directions:.

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2. In a large bowl beat the butter or margarine, white sugar and brown sugar together. Include the eggs and vanilla, beating well.

3. Stir together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Gradually include the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir up until mixed. Stir in the oats and the butterscotch chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the baking mat set, (the silicone baking mat must be placed on top of an aluminum or other type of cookie sheet pan).

4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, up until the edges begin to brown.

That is practically it. Once the cookies are done you can let them cool for a minute or two then take them out. This is the cool part! When you are ready to get the cookies observe how the cookies come out with ease; how you do not do any scrubbing and you do not have to worry about the cookies breaking apart. It's that simple. When all the cookies are done you just take your silicone baking mat and wash with warm soapy water, rinse and let air dry.
I hope you guys enjoy the recipe and if you would like to learn more about the silicone baking mat click on the links above. Enjoy!
