New life is breathed into the beloved Air Max 90, with a new remix that celebrates 25 years of blurring the line between running tech and lifestyle chic. The Nike Roshe Run Donna Air Max 90 JCRD Ice releases in two colorways this Friday at select retailers.

While the overall aesthetics are clearly AM90 at a glance, closer inspection reveals a bold, intricate style distinct from the traditional model yet ornately attractive in its own right. A layered jacquard weave comprises the entire upper, with the density and knit pattern switched up in areas to deliver the illusion of panels despite the shoe’s seamless build.

For a more contemporary look, no-sew Hyperfuse on the Swoosh and mudguard stands in for the classic leather pieces, with a bold fractal graphic adding depth and detail.

Finally, the iconic midsole of the Air Max 90 is reimagined, as a translucent composition allows a window into the Phylon foam that famously cushions the Air Max 90 — that translucence being a hallmark of the “Ice” series.
